March Wishlist ♥

I got reaaaaaally bored tonight, so I decided to put together a list of some things which I'm planning to buy soon. As I have a small job now (yay!) I'm going to be able to buy things myself instead of waiting for birthday's and such which is pretty cool. This is also a reminder to myself what to buy, as I'm quite forgetful when it comes to things like this.

I'll also put the link to each item through the name.

I've been meaning to buy this for a long time now, as it's just the cutest thing EVER. I'm a big Mahou Shoujo fan, so this shirt is absolutely perfect. Unfortunately, it says it's not listed anymore which sucks so bad as I've wanted it for so long! I might e-mail the seller at some point to see if it'll ever get stocked up again. ^_^

Once again, I've been meaning to buy one of these pillows for a while! Quite a lot of these pillows are indecent which annoys me quite a lot, as finding one which isn't dirty became quite troublesome. It's also annoying that they have such a big reputation for being so bad aswell, as they're absolutely ADORABLE. I really like this one as Sugiura is super cute (her hair is beaaaaautiful) but I would much rather have an Akaza Akarin or Yoshikawa Chinatsu one as I prefer those characters to Sugiura. I also found the most PERFECT Akarin pillow case on google, but I can't find a link for it! (If you ever find one, please let me know.)

See what I mean? It's just the cutest thing ever. Ah.

I also really like this Kirino dakimakura as I really enjoyed Oreimo (another of my favourite anime's) and Kirino is absolutely adorable. I'll probably only be able to afford once of the three dakimakura's I picked out though. :c

I completely forgot to post this aswell the first time I published this post, but I also found this Yuno dakimakura aswell. As Yuno is my favourite character of all time, it'd be so cool to have a dakimakura of her. Unfortunately I don't really like the art on here too much, so whatever really.

A few months ago, I read Murakami's 1Q84 trilogy and they were literally three of the best books I've ever read. We're also studying "On Seeing the 100% Perfect Girl" at school which is perfect aswell; studying books/short stories which I actually like is THE ONE.
But anyway, I figured that I should definitely read some of his other works. As this is another popular book of his, I'll definitely be buying it sometime soon. I'm currently reading Cloud Atlas, A Pale View of Hills and Pet Sematary at the moment (not all at once, of course..) but I'll probably buy it straight after I've finished those. I have this problem where I seem to have so many books to read, but so little time. *sigh*

After browsing the internet for a short while this morning, I came across this dress which I instantly fell in love with. I love collared shirts/dresses, so it works really. I really like the grey as it'd be a good outfit to wear at sixth form when I start, but a friend earlier told me that I have a lot of dark clothes (GEORGIA, I DO NOT AGREE.) so I'm most likely going to buy the peach one. It's not really a problem as I like them both. I also like this dress as it can be wore quite casually or for when you're going out for a meal or for school, which is absolutely brilliant. It's nicely priced aswell, so I should be purchasing that quite soon.

I'm going to Mcm Expo in London this October (well, hopefully) and I've decided that I want to proper cosplay a character. As Mirai Nikki is one of my favourite anime's and Gasai Yuno is my favourite character of all time, I decided that I'd reaaaaaaaally like to go as her. I've never dressed up as a character and wore a wig before, so I'm pretty new to this. If I feel like I don't want to buy the outfit over the internet, I'll probably make it myself. I should probably make a decision about that quite soon though, as I can't sew. At all.
...
But anyway. I was absolutely chuffed when I found this link as the outfit looks extremely good quality and it's nicely priced. A lot of the other places I saw this outfit was priced at about £60-80, which is way over my budget. The wig would cost about £11 aswell, which is also extremely good. YIPIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEE.
This is all just a possibility though. I may decide that I don't want to cosplay her after all.

I started buying my boyfriend the Battle Royale manga books for Christmas last year. I've bought him every single one apart from this one, as this one just happens to be so expensive! I refuse to pay £10 for a used manga book. HMPH.
I've read all the manga books (sadly I read them online, which just isn't the same as reading from an actual book :c), the novel and I've watched both films. I absolutely love the story line, and I don't think I'll ever get bored of it. Hopefully I'll be able to read all the manga's in book form at some point if I borrow them off Joe.
Quite a lot of people always say how The Hunger Games is so much better than Battle Royale, but many of them haven't even heard of Battle Royale. I've read all The Hunger Games books, and I was left incredibly unimpressed. It has nothing on Battle Royale, and I would recommend The Hunger Games to no one.
That is just opinion though.

At Mcm Expo in Birmingham two weeks ago, I purchased a Kyubey plushie for £15 from Tokyo Toys. I really didn't want to leave the expo without buying anything, and I hadn't seen any Kyubey plushie's anywhere before. I ended up buying her, and she's the most perfect thing ever. The material is so soft, and she's her sizing is just right aswell. I couldn't imagine her being any bigger; she's the size I imagined her to be in the anime.
As I was so happy with the last product I bought from Tokyo Toys, I decided that I definitely want to buy from there again. I spotted the Happy plushie at the expo aswell, but I only really wanted to buy one. I'll be buying Happy as soon as possible so Kyubey doesn't get too lonely.

My Kyubey plushie. ^

Earlier when I was looking for new clothes, I spotted this aswell. I really like it as it looks quite loosely fitted but also quite big and warm. Comfy jumpers/jackets make me complete.
The only thing I'm slightly worried about is that it only comes in one size, and it may not fit me as the sizes are so small compared to the sizes in England. I guess I'll just measure myself tomorrow and see if I'll be able to fit into it. I wouldn't want to purchase that straight before the summer as I wouldn't get to wear it for a while, so if I do buy this it'll be in the late year towards Autumn.

And that brings this post to an end. It's awfully late, and the clocks go forwards an hour so I'll be losing an hours sleep. *sigh* I should probably stop watching Jigoku Shoujo and go to sleep soon. I've been meaning to finish it for almost a year now.
ENOUGH PROCRASTINATION.
I hope you've had a good evening and thankyou for reading this!
Have a good Easter!

AMNESIA & Tamako Market!

AMNESIA.

So over the last twelve weeks, I have been watching an anime called Amnesia. I finished watching it on Tuesday, and I was going to write a review that day but I didn't have any time. I can remember quite abit of what I wanted to say about it, but I probably should've wrote this earlier so I got down everything I had in mind. Ah, well.

EVERYTHING I AM WRITING IS OPINION.  There also may be a few spoilers so please keep that in mind. Also, none of the pictures are mine.

I only decided to watch it as I could watch it for free on my mobile phone (on the Crunchyroll app) and I'd heard some good comments about it around tumblr and myanimelist. After reading the synopsis on the internet and looking at a few of the pictures, I wouldn't usually decide to watch it if I hadn't heard such good things about it. The characters looked a little odd, and it just didn't really seem like my kind of thing. Nonetheless, I decided to watch it anyway.

It's basically about a girl who loses all her memories and doesn't really have a clue what's going on, and there's some fairy who keeps appearing to her aswell. That's pretty much it in a nutshell without revealing much.

SO. After watching the first episode, it left me a curious and wanting to know what happened next. I didn't exactly enjoy it, but it left me extremely interested as it just seemed so confusing. Over the next few episodes I still wasn't enjoying it too much, but after each episode I REALLY wanted to know what would happen next.

The heroine.

The protagonist of the anime. I highly disliked her, I know she'd obviously gone through a lot seeing as she'd lost her memories, but she never really grew on me. She just seemed too timid and quiet, and she never seemed to get her words out in time. I don't think I would've been able to watch the whole anime if it was longer than 12 episodes, she would've annoyed me far too much. Not my kind of character, but she's pretty cute. I mean, just look at those eyes.

Orion.

I'm not really sure what was going with this character. I couldn't even tell if it was a boy or a girl. :c But anyway, I quite liked her. (Let's just say she's a girl, I probably should've looked into this before I wrote it but whatever.) I didn't really understand why she kept disappearing and then reappearing at certain times, but she was quite amusing and likeable. I also liked how she was slightly unexplained, but it seemed to be a pain at times.

Shin.

I REALLY liked this character, and I was so so gutted that he was only in it for a few episodes. I really liked him during the first few episodes, but then when he didn't appear for a while I was left a little like... Oh.

Mine.

I was disappointed that she was only a supporting role, because I really liked her aswell. AAAAAAAAH.

To conclude, I'm glad I watched it even if it was slightly odd. I'd only really rate it about 6/10, as it wasn't my kind of anime but the art was good, some of the characters were pretty cool but there just didn't seem to be much substance to anything. Hmm, I don't really know. I really liked all the characters eyes though, they were loooooooooovely.

TAMAKO MARKET.

I finished Tamako Market literally a few minutes before I started writing this post. There's not too much I'm going to say about it though, so this part of the post should be quite short.
I quite like this type of anime at times, as the characters are all really sweet and they make me feel good. I'm usually into anime's which have lots of actions or romance involved (for example, Sword Art Online and Mirai Nikki. My favourites of ALL TIME.) But an anime like this is okay from time to time.
I got a little confused at first, as Tamako looked quite similar to Chitanda from Hyouka (which I keep meaning to watch but still haven't).

CHITANDA.

TAMAKO.

Well, I think they're similar anyway.

DERA.

Pretty much the whole reason I decided to watch the anime. I simply couldn't resist an anime with a talking bird involved. But yeah, he was my favourite character by far. I GIVE HIM 8/10. NYAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWH.

I really did like this anime, but I probably won't be watching another which is like this anytime soon. They get a little...well...boring at times. I had the same problem with Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!
I give it about 7/10. I like anime's which are only 12 episodes long, but not when I start to like the characters and then I miss them afterwards. (That's not sad, right?)
...

Thankyou for reading! I hope you enjoy the rest of your afternoon!

New blog! ♥

HELLO.

I've decided to start a blog for a number of reasons.
  1. I want to write/talk about stuff but not many people have the same interests as myself.
  2. I don't have much to do (School work? Hmm, no..)
  3. I just felt like it really. I've been meaning to start a blog up for a while now but I never really got round to doing so.
SO HERE I AM. I don't really have many ideas for what I'm going to write about, so let's just see what happens.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your evening!
